All day and all of the night

Huge Day Huge Night! Girls packing up. Signing the final papers for my house today yay! Hair appointment late this afternoon for the 20's birthday dinner partay on the east side tonight . Then the Private Party at the Driskill with the rock stars;0) I have the hardest time with dinner starting at nine. I'm getting old. I go to bed waaaay to early! I'm tired I could actually stay in bed all day but right now I'm enjoying the great outdoors! I have more news to share. Maybe on Sunday. Everyone have a fabulous memorial Day weekend!

Today we did a little mini shoot for fun at the shop. No make-up except lipstick and wind blown hair au naturel! I just used my little camera and all the photos were taken by me. I'll photograph the Jewels with our professional camera this week. I thought I'd post a couple of teasers. You can check out more on our www.theboudoirqueen.com site. I may list one or two items on etsy as well. I love all the faboo lingerie. All of us are going to Laura's private soiree at the Driskill this weekend it's a 20's theme. It's going to be fun! We are managing to make lot's of clothing and lots of jewels during our move. The shop is in full tilt boogie!

While packing my books I found my EDIE Book. I haven't read it in years. So I've been doing a little late nite reading. The book is actually very depressing not how I remembered it when I was 18 years old. I was reminded of Ingrid Superstar. In the book it said she was brought in to make Edie Jealous.(they called her the ugly Edie) which is sad. I was shocked to read that she is missing and has never been found. I never new that. There are about 3 people in the book who I know personally. I had forgotten the stories about the "trip books" You'll have to read it to find out what I'm talking about.

In December 1986 Ingrid Superstar left her apartment to buy some cigarettes and never returned. An article about her disapearance titled "Ex-Warhol Protege Vanishes" (by Amy Pagnozzi) was published in the New York Post on 4 February 1987. After her daughter's disappearance, Ingrid's mother took out an advertisement in a newspaper with a message asking her to "Come back so we can play 'Morning Dew' without feeling sad." (FM427) Ingrid never returned. Although presumed dead, her body has never been found.

I'm taking a little relaxation break from the packing. I honestly have never been so busy in my entire life. Moving, preparing another new studio, putting together a 25 piece collection, photo shoots, preparing our house to sell when we move out, Secret Circus in Aspen and now I've been asked to put together a special lookbook for NYC LORDY! Also I have several other things I have to stay mum about for a couple of months. The good news is I have 3 fabulous helpers ;) actually 4 fabulous helpers. 
We had the house inspection last week so we will be outta here very soon! I can't wait another minute! I'm also pretty excited about the ad campaign and I'm hoping a picture will crop up before September.

P.S. Thanks for all the nice emails and for those of you who leave comments thank you! For some reason I have a problem replying to my comments. I've had this blog forever and I need to update the applications and such. I do read all the comments. For those of you who emailed about the jewels- you know the details Thanks!
