When decorating and looking for inspiration........it's always fun to run across something you actually own. In the 1st pic I own a fabulous black étagère like the one in the photo. In fact mine is much prettier. It comes to a point with ornate carvings at the top. Although the decore in photo 1 is way too gaudy for my taste it's interesting to see the piece. In photo number 2 I have the exact deco rug. Same size and motif. This photo is a lot like my old living room in my house in Hollywood Hancock Park. I even have these fabulous pale pink chairs that every antique collector that has seen them wants. Mine are 20's and gorgeous. I bought them when I worked at Golyester the most decadent vintage clothing store there is in L.A.
