I've carried around this tiny little picture for years. I cut the photo out of a book years ago. I've always wanted a bedroom like this. I've scanned it and you can see half moon shaped boudoir pillows, boudoir dolls and doll pillows. My bed reminds of the bed in the photo. Mine is a sleigh bed. I think I've come pretty close to achieving the desired look.
A few more rooms. Lots more to show over the next few weeks! Ignore the paint- I haven't hung the pictures yet either in the dining room or living room. This gives you an idea of how the house is coming along. I love it here!
original address entry. I had gorgeous flower pots at the top of the cement steps but it was so hot I had to move them. ;( Unfinished Dining area Lustre lamps from Paris.I'm looking for better shades. I bought them yesterday. The lady that lived in the house before me is an antique dealer. My new source for all that is fabulous!

So all of the masks that traveled the world are now sold and pre sold. I didn't post the ones that were used and sent the photos privately to those who asked to see. We are making more so lmk if you want one for a special event.
Here are a few more photos of our new house. All I've really shown so far is "the girlie room" The entry and bits of the wrap around porch. I'm adding a new image of one of the bathrooms. It's actually one of the smaller ones. The bathroom off the master bedroom is big enough to put a queen size bed in. I love the tub in the photo I have up. Three baths in all. That being said living area master bedroom library wing of the house needs painting badly. So I probably wont be showing you much until it's done. This house is so spread out it actually has two addresses. I have a lavender room that is being made into a lounge. It's one of my favorite parts of the house. My son is using it now. He's leaving in a week so I'll photograph it when I get it straightened up. The house won't really be finished for another year. We have a guest house which Mark is turning into a recording studio. I'm so busy with work I just keep telling myself I have to be patient. The paint is driving me crazy! Anyway Enjoy!
P.S. I'm doing another vintage shoot next week ;)
Buy from the shoot on our website. The Edwardian Skirt and Bell sleeved net top are authentic teens garments. Both are unusual and even better in person. The skirt has a layer of embroidered netting fringe and beads on silk. If had these items stashed and they are part of my own collection. Nico has found one of the rooms that need to be renovated. She sun baths daily. She's finally starting to get a little bigger. She'll be two on Dylan's 19th birthday August 9th.
favorite muse of the late unsurpassed photographer saloniste' and arbiter of high decadence Steven Arnold. Dawn would be seen around Hollywood looking like a tall blonde Cocteau statue wearing the most incredibly put together looks we had ever seen. I'll never forget her dress composed of an Aleister Crowley collage and her bat-wing false eyelashes. Her collections have been inspired by such diverse unique souls of the past such as kiki de Montparnasse, Marchessa Casati and the great Erte' who was a friend. Her sense of style is also very reminiscent of the great Italian designer Donella Donati who did the costuming for Fellini's films. Dawn was doing Edie Sedgwick style and fashion shoots way before there was ever a movie.I introduced her to Bobby Neuwirth Edie"s long time boyfriend and close friend of Bob Dylan famous for writing "Oh lord wont you buy me a Mercedes Benz" Dawns instinct for the unique and the pleasing permeate her work and the atmosphere she invokes around herself.

Our Boudoir Queen Shoot is on Monday and I'm pulling all of our fabulous vintage for the shoot. I have too much to photograph in one day but I'll try and do at least 5 looks. I'm getting really excited about our Fall Launch in late August. The photos taken on Monday will be shot in my new neighborhood and house. It's a photographers dream ;)
Today was a lovely day. I had a fashion meeting in Austin which got me really excited. Then Mark and I got our hair cut and colored at one of my favorite salons. A new hair style always makes my day. Then we met my assistant Laura for lunch downtown. Good food and good company It was really nice. Dylan enjoyed it too. Now I'm back to sorting out the above objects. We have many piles of objects all over the house that need to be put away before the shoot next week.
I was going thru my old modeling pictures during the move. These photo's of me were taken in 1989 at my house next to the Franklin Bridge in Hollywood. They were taken by the now famous painter Keith Wicks. BTW I wasn't modeling clothes. This was how I dressed everyday and these were my clothes. We just took these for fun. The turban was custom made for me and I wore it to a lot of Steven Arnold's openings where the photo's he took of me were on display. I have more I'll post later .
******I have to admit I've been holding out a little. I've been hoarding the good stuff such as new photos, new vintage, the new collection and the assortment of house photos. I'm coming back online with fabulously decadent new offerings for my customers. I'm truly sorry that I've made everyone wait but I really am a perfectionist and I want the timing to be just right. I'm doing 2 shoots -one next week with vintage and another collaboration with some of my Austin designer friends. Right about the time of my show the things I've been working on over the summer will finally be seen! I'll be posting some vintage goodies in a week or so just to get the ball rolling!
