Sunday Morning Flowers

I love waking up to all these lovely flowers. My wonderful husband bought me 3 dozen roses yesterday. He's been bringing me flowers every week since we met. I'm such a lucky girl. The Magnolias are from our tree and the sage is from our garden. I'm loving the house right now. I have one bathroom, the kitchen, breakfast nook and mudd room to decorate and then I'll be finished. I'm fixing up the loft first. I have a feeling it will take a life time to get it exactly how I want it to be!

We just had these stairs built and the upstairs door put in. Keep in mind the stairs haven't been painted and the landscape hasn't been done but this is our loft in the back. Marks Music studio down stairs and an artists loft upstairs. Exterior stairs to the loft. Interior framing under way. Happy!

Double Take

Stairway to Heaven

Today we started on a massive staircase with two landings leading up to our /studio artists loft! I'm so excited because not only can Marks clients from the studio stay over night but we can have parties up there. We can even use it as a rental if we want. The builder kicked butt and it will be finished thursday. Then we finish it out on the inside paint and decorate. I'll post pictures in about 6 weeks

Austin is starting to buzz with fashion week excitement. I'm working a a project in L.A. as well and I can't wait to announce after my show- I think everyone is going to be surprised at my line this year. It won't be what you are probably expecting which is always a good thing.

Oh wow eeeep Dallas Houston -now I know why I would only live in one place in Texas and thats the Austin area. Back from my major shopping trip and oh boy do I have some amazingly luxe and decadent fabrics. I'm just giddy over all this beauty. I went a little crazy and spent 150.00 a yard on a few things but it's going to be so worth it. It's going to be in boutiques so I'm being very picky. I already have several big international magazines who want to shoot the collection and 3 stylists ready and waiting. It's a big deal! * Note to buyers -Came home to a lot of sales on our website. I'll get back to everyone in the morning! We also have some major press coming soon so keep checking back. Get ready for lot's of beaded gowns on Monday!! Toodles xox BQ
