Today my day started at 4:00 a.m. working on getting our samples done. The next project took up most of the day with a new PR firm getting all my press together which is why my FB was busy with activity today. I can't resist posting some of the photos I haven't looked at in ages. Getting all the press together that I've had over the years is no easy task. The end of my afternoon was spent talking with my lawyers. Lawyer days are draining. So now I'm going to take a relaxation bath and use my new SK-11 3D mask. I'm having a nice quiet weekend. Much deserved xo BQ
This is our fabulous Bed Jacket design that is available in a wide variety of colors and styles. The photo below is from the Nine West Karen Elson Vintage America Ad in last September's issue of VOGUE. The last photo is the same Jacket style featured in a 6 page editorial for Austin Monthly Magazine 2005- They are still one of our best selling garments

Last week I decided to pop in the dvd of Mommie Dearest as background noise and let me tell you it got loud. I had forgotten how overly dramatic that movie is. I have had the opportunity to hang out with Faye on several occasions a few years back. My best friend was her private hair colorist. She drove a little 450 SL Mercedes and played rock music very loud LOL(that's all I'll say) At the time she was in a kids film Dunston Checks In. We took my son Dylan to the premiere. He was little at the time. She was a frequent visitor to the Salon I worked at Doyle Wilson on Melrose. She truly is a great actress. Of coarse my favorite movie she was in is Bonnie and Clyde. A classic. Speaking of Bonnie and Clyde another person who was a regular at the salon was Michael J. Pollard who played the driver C.W. Moss. I became friends with him. He was very nice /shy. I haven't seen him in years. I'd like to run into him again.
I'm thrilled everyone enjoyed the Charlotte Rampling inspired clothing. I've been an admirer of her since Georgy Girl- I think Georgy Girl was filmed the year I was born. I can relate to the fashion as it reminds me of my mother. I love the wigs in that first scene.
Sorry for my lack of blogging. It's nuts right now. Getting ready for this show and what's to come has taken all my time. You may have read about the kick off Party this year which I'm really looking forward to. I was asked to be a part of it but I opted for something that I feel will really show off my new collection. (soon to be announced) My husband and I will be attending most of the events this year. I'm already choosing my wardrobe and deciding on a new hairstyle. As I've mentioned I've stuck it out and July will be one year since I cut my hair. Its finally healthy and long enough to do something cool. Of coarse Shawna from Propaganda will give me an amazing new look. I'm really starting to love my new collection. We are working our butts off and I hope everyone loves as much as we do! These hairstyles are cute but I have another look I'm going for but I thought I'd share.
