Loulou, circa 1969. Born in 1948 to an English model/socialite and a French count, Loulou de la Falaise would become arguably the greatest fashion muse of the 20th century. She met Yves Saint Laurent during a magical moment in fashion history, showing him––and consequently the world––a new way for women to dress, act, feel … live. She was, simply put, an original.
I had a fabulous spa day and early morning shopping! My face is sore ;( but I'm feeling good. As usual I buy things to go with my vintage. I did buy some very modern Stella MCCArtney pants / Rick Owens / and a must have white mens button up shirt. I love that look so sexy very Gia. I also bought some very cool tailored trousers just because I don't really buy pants online and needed some desperately. They are fabulous very RiRi. Then some black suede boots that are very tight fitting go-go style and a over the top pair of couture Miu Miu platforms which was something I didn't need but I couldn't resist whatever. I never buy purses. I always buy shoes. I have to break down and get rid of my hobo bag. It was a fun day back to work tomorrow.
