So.... in the original Streetcar Named Desire Jessica Tandy played Blanche. She was the only actor/actress who was not chosen to be in the movie. Not because she wasn't good. In fact the director thought she was much better than Leigh. Leigh was chosen because they needed star power for the movie. It's also known that the role in this movie pushed Vivien over the edge. She was Bipolar. Marlon Brando stars in William's 1947 play "A Streetcar Named Desire." Jessica Tandy plays Blanche Du Bois.
Such a great movie.....I never was hard or self-sufficient enough. When people are soft - soft people have got to shimmer and glow - they've got ot put on soft colors, the colors of butterfly wings, and put a - paper lantern over the light... It isn't enough to be soft. You've got to be soft and attractive. And I - I'm fading now! I don't know how much longer I can turn the trick.
As you all know we've been doing Cherry Bomb Jackets and Cherry Zipper dress's but this new dress is literally a cherry. It has cherries all over it and pale blue with lace. I'm having my photo taken (a real professional one lol) and this is the dress I will be wearing in the 10 page photo spread that I've been talking about. I usually sell after something like this because I can't really wear again if I've been photographed. Soooooo ask me. PS Sale ends tonight-I'll do bye bye pretties later in the week I'm ripping out my kitchen floors a gruesome task
These Edwardian silk dresses are not the norm. I will be shooting them on a model. They have pleats in the back and two have a train type back. Al have lace and different kinds of embroidery work. They look great layered. The bottom image is all the lace on the back of our new BQ dresses. They are stunningly gorgeous available soon.
