As I've mentioned over the past several weeks, we have been very exited about being a part of the fabulous Carney video "Love Me Chase Me". The divine Evan Rachel Wood is wearing Boudoir Queen custom Corsetry and accessories in all the scenes except the first one. I would like to thank Timothy the fabulous director for sending us some great concepts to work from. I love the styling and make-up in this video. The song is now one of my favorites. OMG- this is sooooooooooo rare. As many of you know my husband Mark Younger-Smith co-wrote the now famous ahead of it's time CYBERPUNK Record----I've only found one other concert from this period. This one is great. Mark has half a head of pink hair LOL! Anyway I was happy to find this concert tour ended early and there's not a lot of footage. BQ XX

My favorite band when I was sixteen was the Runaways. I still love the song Cherry Bomb. Mark's best girlfriend Stefunny is married to Joan's drummer Thommy Price. (Former Billy Idol drummer)Whenever they come to town we always see Joan. When I met her she came in the trailer with her classic bikini bathing suit top on. Jes from the Veronicas reminded me of that moment in a recent photo I posted. Joan rocks we love her! Kristen Stewart is finally showing off her full Joan Jett hairdo for The Runaways! After a few days of hiding it underneath hoodies or in ponytails, Kristen Stewart debuted her dramatic new look as she arrived at the studio

My fashion blog has turned into a music site lately. Ok........Murder Sweet is playing in Austin tonight! They go on at 11:15 it's going to be a late night. The Petals are opening with THE REAL HEROS who I love. The Petals are a band that my husband produced come check them out. We are going to make these girls some BQ when we get some time whew! No time to breath right now!!!

The Veronicas and Lady GAGA Austin Music Hall

The humidity levels reached a fever pitch as The Veronicas and Lady GaGa raised the heat in Austin last night. They performed at the Austin Music hall to a sold out crowd of 5000+ Not only did I have the honor of them giving us tickets to attend the concert with my husband and one of my assistant designers Shannon, we met them before the show on their tour bus. They were nice enough to pose for photos in their new fabulous Boudoir Queen goodies. They are not only young and fresh but they are one of the most popular girl bands at the moment with their power hit song "Untouched" which is the number one requested song on the radio. I felt the electricity in the air. Not only did they deliver an awe inspiring performance they rocked head to toe Boudoir Queen to full tilt with maximum effect. Jessica worked it in her faboo BQ silk feathery dress with our new Boudoir Queen Bangles. Lisa looked stunning and beautiful in our fabulous Libertina In Disarray collage corset with Boudoir Queen Cuffs, upper arm cuffs and BQ Bangles. The were born to wear BQ!

ON THE TOUR BUS WITH THE VERONICAS PLAYING DRESS UP

When taking photos on a dark tour bus it's hard to get the maximum effect.Lot's of shadows! This photo doesn't even look like me. Some strange shadow on my head but the girls look divine and that's all that matters. The crowd was going crazy outside so we couldn't really go out. Shannon and I literally got ready in 20 minutes and flew over to the bus to get there before the show. The Veronicas were so nice to us. I love the fact that they look so hot in Boudoir Queen. We are looking forward to making them more faboo-louche designs. We made custom cuffs for them which I'll be posting. It's our "New Look" and they were the first to rock it! I have a lot more images to edit.

L.A. Woman-

Here we have a photo of me on the right and my friend Nichole on the left. Nichole played a fabulous Marilyn Monroe in the very cool Billy Idol LA Woman video I've posted below. Remember I was telling you all in a previous blog about my Steven Sprouse Tinsle dress and my custom Turban? Well she's wearing it. This set of photographs were for an ad for French Vogue. It was for my friend Barbara Groeger's fabulous Swarvorski encrusted jewelry line . It was sold word wide at Neimans and other boutiques. She did this look before anyone. Later in life she did the same kind of Pave' work using shells. Oh my,I don't know how she had the patience.The shoot was in her gorgeous house in Hollywood Hills. The living room was as big as a hotel lobby. She had great taste.In her honor we have made a stunning turban an I have used one of her jewels as an adornment. I'll post the new photos soon!
