Today I'm taking a bit of a break. I haven't even unpacked from the week. I still have so many things to list! Lots of shipping to be done. Thank goodness I have help. I'm overwhelmed right now. The show was a huge success and I'm so very very happy. I'm doing a couple more shoots before I leave for L.A.-- A few more vintage shoots and some of the pieces we did not use for the show. I have gorgeous moodboards that I've been working on over the past 4 months and I'll try and post a few when I get a chance next week. Also I've opened my FB to the public because I simply cannot keep up with all of the images. So those of you who are not on FB can click on the link at the top of this blog and take a peek. If you are not one of my FB friends you will still be unable to view all the posts. Also I've updated my pinterest boards under Boudoir Queen 1 For now here is Boudoir Queen and our inspirations-
Boudoir Queen is being featured photos/article in the Summer Issue of Belle Armoire I think you can buy this at just about every bookstore in the U.S. This is our second feature with Stampington Magazines the last one was Altered Couture. I'll post details when it's out.
I've listed a few of the headbands already and several here. This is easier for me. I'm overwhelmed with hundreds of emails from the show. If you are one of the people waiting on a headband email me direct with what you want! BQ xo I'll be listing all week
My new friend Mickey is an incredible photographer. She's from Amsterdam. She recently shot an editorial for Austin Monthly and took some great photos of one of my dresses. I especially loved these images as she captured something that know one else has so far. Check out her site for more!
It is insanity at BQ right now. Crazy busy! I re-opened the shop for an hr for a customer but the Etsy shop is now officially closed until the 13h or 14th of May. Can't wait to share all the new designs from my upcoming capsule collection with you. Of coarse we have several films being made at the event including the documentary. Packing now and I'll blog tomorrow with updates. Ciao
Gail Chovan and I will both be showing collections this Saturday night at the Austin Fashion Awards. Click on the link in my previous blog to read more about the Noir event event.
First we went to the event then a burlesque show with Gail Evan and Mickey and the Trail of the Dead show. Should have skipped Trail of the Dead I was wiped out at that point
